Roz Eve also known under the maiden name of Roslynn Phillips started her only formal training in art, taking lesson from Adeline Swartz (artist/teacher),
in 1971 for approximately 2 years. She has been creating art on her own since then. She has been painting fantasy art since 1984. She paints scenery, sunsets,
abstracts and sci/fi as well, but fantasy is her passion. Most of her art reflects the love of mystical and magical themes she loved as a child. She believes
that like her a lot of people retain the joy of child hood imagination and the simple joy in a magical theme like Peter Pan, Aladdin's Lamp, and I Dream of Jeanie etc.
She has seldom shown her work as most of them were given or sold to friends and relatives. She has shown her oil paintings in the Kor Gallery in Kitchener, Ontario, and
now on her personal gallery website. She spends most of her free time talking to Dean her husband / best friend, making gold layer, amber jewelry, going to movies,
long drives, and reading Fantasy books. She lives in a duplex in Waterloo Ontario Canada, where they rent the lower apartment to some great university students.
